From The Graceland Home Collection:
An exclusive collection of limited-edition home décor and replica pieces inspired by Graceland’s décor and Elvis’ iconic style. Each item is thoughtfully crafted to capture the style, spirit, and legacy of the King’s legendary estate.
"Portrait of Elvis" is inspired by a black and white photo of Elvis taken at his rental home in Killeen, Texas, during his Army training. In July 1958, he met DJ Rocky Frisco, who rode his bike from Tulsa to Killeen for a publicity stunt to interview Elvis. After the interview, they posed for photos holding the bike rim, leading to this oil painting. The original portrait remains at Graceland at the base of the main staircase where Elvis placed it.
