This set is pretty close to Heaven for me!

As much as I love Elvis when he rocks, and when he sings beautiful romantic ballads, too, Elvis's Gospel music is so great that it takes me to another place, an almost mystical place-- close to Heaven on earth! My favorite Presley album is still "Elvis is Back!" but his Gospel album, "His Hand In Mine," brings me peace of mind, heart, and soul, in a way that no other Elvis album can. It's not just an album for me-- it's truly a religious experience! This 3 CD set features the full recording sessions, including the original album, remastered for the best sound quality, and every take of every song, as Elvis and the band worked hard to make "His Hand In Mine" one of the all-time masterpiece albums of Gospel music. It doesn't get any better than this, Elvis fans! Our man is singing some of the very best vocals of his life, in his great voice of 1960, and the musicians and back-up singers on this album help to make these sessions a deeply moving, joyful, soul-stirring listen. What a great CD release by FTD. Truly Elvis loved Gospel music and this album gives us Elvis at his best. He is committed to each song and is obviously enjoying himself in the studio. This is one release I will revisit often.
I also enjoy the sessions releases as it gives us fans a chance to "be a fly on the wall" so-to-speak.

Graceland also did a fantastic job in providing this great CD. The service was and packaging were especially done well. In fact, I received this CD several days ahead of schedule.
Great job all the way around.
