Super large, thin, and soft! I've worn this scarf many ways and have had it serve a multitude of tasks, (pillow under neck and light blanket while on a plane, seat protector from hot car seats, comfort blankie for a toddler, shoulder wrap for teenage girl that refuses to wear a coat, etc.) AND, the multi color small print pattern hides any stains! Easy to wash out in a bathroom sink - w/ cold water. I've gotten many compliments on this scarf, so I bought several and have given them as gifts to family & friends - most who aren't even Elvis aficionados! I keep an extra one in my car and travel bag :-)
