In the 1970s, Elvis wanted to create a logo that represented his approach to business and personal affairs which was to act quickly and get things done. During a discussion about this subject on a flight back to Memphis from the West Coast, Elvis and Priscilla were intrigued by lightning they saw from their plane. They then began to sketch lightning bolts on an airplane napkin with the letters "TCB".

By the time their flight had landed, the TCB lightning bolt logo had been born - Taking Care of Business in a Flash ! ! !

Elvis was so excited by the design that he decided to have gold pendants made based on the design and then gave one to each member of his entourage in addition to having one made for himself to wear.
