Here is Elvis in possibly his best singing voice, with one of his very best recording sessions!

I have every Elvis studio and concert album which was released in his lifetime, and "Elvis Is Back" is one of my very favorite Elvis albums, period! It features some of his greatest singing, at a time when his singing voice was becoming better and better-- so vibrant and beautiful, and still youthful and rocking, but more mature than in the '50s (of course, he was great in the '50s too!). The musicians assembled for this album were some of the best to be found anywhere. Scotty Moore and DJ Fontana were still with Elvis at this time, but many other great musicians are on "Elvis Is Back" too. This was one rockin' band, and the slower songs are wonderful too! Anyway, the sound quality is truly amazing on these sessions, and if "Elvis Is Back" is an album that you especially love, like me, this set is one that you should have. It features the complete recorded sessions for the album, on 4 CDs, in great sound, with a very nice booklet, with photos and information about Elvis and the sessions. I am very glad that I bought this set. It's the final word on one of his greatest albums! Five stars, the highest rating, for this one!

FTD. I want music plus talking, nothing erased

On FTD I want nothing erased. I want all the conversation between takes not just the song over and over (although I enjoy that). I want Elvis conversation, in other words everything that goes on
