After the fantastic Elvis Is Back! And the Something For Everybody Sessions one might think that Elvis wouldn't be able to sustain his creativity.
These Sessions are just as good.
For me the hilights are the Little Sister, His Latest Flame and Such An Easy Question takes.
Elvis seems all in on these takes trying to get it "just right."
Also, I really appreciate the first take of Just For Old Times Sake.
While many Elvis fans give this period of Elvis' recording career short shrift, I would encourage you to give these sessions a good thorough listen.
