Born to an American myth and raised in the wilds of Graceland, Lisa Marie Presley tells her whole story for the first time in this raw, riveting, one-of-a-kind memoir faithfully completed by her daughter, Riley Keough.

In 2022, Lisa Marie Presley asked her daughter to help finally finish her long-gestating memoir.

A month later, Lisa Marie was dead, and the world would never know her story in her own words, never know the passionate, joyful, caring, and complicated woman that Riley loved and grieved.

Riley got the tapes that her mother had recorded for the book, laid in her bed, and listened as Lisa Marie told story after story about smashing golf carts together in the yards of Graceland, about the unconditional love she felt from her father, about being upstairs, just the two of them. About getting dragged screaming out of the bathroom as she ran towards his body on the floor.  About living in Los Angeles with her mother, getting sent to school after school, always kicked out, always in trouble.  About her singular, lifelong relationship with Danny Keough, about being married to Michael Jackson, what they shared in common. About motherhood. About deep addiction. About ever-present grief. Riley knew she had to fulfill her mother’s wish to reveal these memories, incandescent and painful, to the world.

To make her mother known.

This extraordinary book is composed of both Lisa Marie’s and Riley’s voice, a mother and daughter communicating across the transom of death as they try to heal each other. Profoundly moving and deeply revealing, From Here to the Great Unknown is a book like no other—the last words of the only child of a true legend.

Lost for words.

My heart weeps for Lisa, how could a mother treat their child like that. No wonder she yearned for her dad, that was the only true love she had. Rhyley did a wonderful job with her memoir. It must have been very tough . Loved the book sad but great read
Thank you Rhyley for a brilliant job your mother would be very proud of you 💕

Finally the long time missed truth of two amazing awesome Ladies

Since I have just read a few pages of this book, that finally is an answer to a question I shed so many tears about not getting an answer to the "why did Elvis had to leave us so early?", I can already feel the so long wated for relieve by the book of these truthful words by Lisa Marie an Riley, I give you my honest appreciation for.
Elvis' voice wrapped me in a arm, comfrting blanket, giving me confidence etc. my parents were not able or willing to. Over 50 years I have waited for the truth - and here it is on my beds I de tble.
If possible, I would be very grateful of autogrph(s) which costs I will pay immediately.
As intended, I will write you a more encompassing comment. Until then I am sure Elvis would be proud as hell, Lisa Marie a woman with no real chances of a happy life and Riley obviously following the right path. You are an astonishing and awesome woman.
Thank you for helping out your Mom. It was such a shocking article the day after she left the same way like her father.I cannot still comprehend it although knowing the truth.
Thank you for everything. My honest amicable wishes,
Chris

Grateful to Lisa & Riley

I am very grateful to Lisa Marie for her honesty and the courage to share her memories with us. I am about the same age as Lisa Marie, and how I had wished Elvis was my Dad. I was devastated when he died, I had begged my Mom to take me, as she was going to his concert, and she was taking me.....I never got to see him. I would often think of Lisa Marie, and how great her grief must be.....he wasn't my Dad, he was HERS. I wish I could have been her friend, a true friend, because I cared for the little girl, the little girl who lost her Daddy....and instead of being wrapped in love, tenderness, understanding, voltures swarmed. They should have been taking care of and looking out for his daughter, particularly those many 'benefited' from his generousity. I'm in awe of Riley. How, so soon, with everything coming at her, was she able to finish her Mom's book, she has the strength of her Mom. I thank Riley and Lisa each night as I pick up the book, only reading one chapter at a time, to ponder, to think. And I LOVE learning Elvis was such a FUN, loving Dad....just as I thought he'd be. Bless all those true in their intentions to bring Lisa's words to us. It's the stories I believe in.....as truth.
